In this 2 day one-on-one course learn the basics of bladesmithing through forging a full-tang, bushcraft style knife. I will guide you through how to forge high carbon steel, forging the shape, bevels, and tang of the blade, proper heat treatment, grinding, making the handle, finishing, and sharpening. This is a great class for those that have just started forging and are looking for some extra guidance, or for those that have never forged a blade before. This course also pairs great with the Introduction to Leatherwork course where you can make a sheath for the knife that you just completed.
