Proportional dividers are great for any designer, craftsman, or artist. They are excellent not only for initial design but also for scaling a design up or down. This tool makes it really easy to go from a drawing in a sketchbook to a full size template. I have hand engraved the Golden Ratio section on these dividers to make finding golden proportions easy. Also, these being all metal they are ideal for checking and measuring hot work as well.

Each set of dividers comes with directions on how to use them for lines and circles.
